About

My life has changed.

For thirty years, my days were measured by sales numbers, market share graphs and profitability charts.

Today, my compass points in a different direction. My annual plan has changed from numbers to lists of places I had never even heard of a few years back, of animals I have only seen on documentaries on TV.

I am on a path of rediscovery of the love and obsession that I had for the outdoor as a child coupled with the need to tell stories as my mother used to do for me.

Over the last few years, this journey has taken me to the Arctic to photograph polar bears, I have laid down in the snow in freezing conditions to photograph swans on a frozen lake in Japan, spent nights in a tent in Norway waiting for the male black grouse to arrive.

In Africa, I have laid on the ground as an elephant has walked softly past and sat in an underground hide right next to a waterhole watching a caracal stealthily approach for a drink.

I am acutely aware that I am privileged to go the places that I do.

I don’t just take photos.

I am watching the raw beauty of Nature around me, I am witnessing stories of survival, strength and resilience.

I am learning about fascinating aspects of Nature, how it conspires with its subjects to help them cope.

Most of all, I enjoy the quiet.

I want to share these. I want you to feel the same awe and wonder I experience when I out there with these incredible creatures in their natural habitat.

I fear that many amongst us are losing the connection with Nature – I was one of them.

I believe that we protect what we love and we love what we are connected to.

I hope that my work helps in rebuilding that critical connection with nature.

Beyond the images and the written word, I derive great joy in sharing my experiences live. I am an experienced speaker and
I combine the lessons from my thirty year stint  in the corporate walls and my practice as a certified executive coach, with the lessons I have learnt under the open skies with my camera.

I speak on themes of perspective, resilience, risk taking amongst others.

If you are looking for a speaker to bring the lessons from the wild to your organization, I would love to connect.
